This is not a traditionnal doc about Maradona like ESPN can do for example.This is more about Maradona's personnality. You have of course all the goals.. but also some private stuff you've rarely seen. The commentary is really great. Hope the translation is good.
The french guy who made this, made also a terrific documentary about the glorious Hungarian team and another one about Pelé and Garrincha.
Everybody who loves football should have this one and the others!
This is really more a film than just a simple documentary. It tells you a story, creates an atmosphere. Since many of the images have been seen thousands of times, it's the narration which makes the difference.
Btw for those interested, most of the music used in this film is from the band Gotan Project (great French-Argie band of electro-tango).
