For Alessandro a glorious day Monday 3st of September in Monte Carlo. In the presence of Prince Albert he received the 2007 Golden Foot award.

To win this prize is really nice and he's very proud for that. Alessandro has left his footprints on the champions promenade togheter with great football legends as Gerd Muller, Mario Kempes, Paolo Rossi, Romario de Souza Faria and Hristo Stoitchkov.

During the gala dinner there was a charity for Clarence Seedorf foundation "Champions for Children". Del Piero's shirt was the most request also he was the buyer of Gerd Muller's shirt.
