RAFA REVEALS SUPPORT FROM HICKS

Rafael Benitez has today revealed he is receiving the full support and backing of co-Chairman Tom Hicks.

Despite much publicised problems earlier in the campaign, Benitez admits the two men are now in regular contact with Hicks sending frequent good luck emails across the Atlantic.
尽管此前两人一度公开不合，贝尼特斯说现在他们经常通过电子邮件隔着大西洋进行联络，希克斯总是发些祝福的邮件。
"After the meeting we had, everything was clarified. The misunderstanding was clarified and after the meeting I have had the support of Tom Hicks," said Benitez.
“通过开会我们澄清了许多误会，我也得到了希克斯的支持。”贝尼特斯说。
"Almost every week, not every day but before or after a game, he contacts me. He sends me e-mails saying 'come on', 'well done' and 'you can do it' – very positive. I e-mail him back saying 'thank you'.
“几乎每周，不是每天但是赛前或者赛后，他都会联系我。他会发来邮件说“加油”“干得好”“你可以的”之类鼓励的话。我总是会他说“谢谢”。
"He does it for different games. Before this game against Middlesbrough he e-mailed me saying 'come on.' Before and after the Inter game he e-mailed me.
“每场比赛他都会这么做。和米堡这场比赛前，他又对我说“加油”。和国米的比赛前后他都给我发了邮件。
"After Barnsley he said 'come on, keep focused on the Champions League' – he's very supportive.
“和巴恩斯利的比赛后他告诉我继续努力，吧注意力放在欧冠比赛上。他很支持我。
"My relationship with Tom Hicks is good and I don't have any problems because I'm professional.
“我和希克斯的关系很好，我也没有任何问题，因为我很职业。
"It was a misunderstanding and I think he understands now all the things I was telling him before."

He added: "I am a fighter, I have always been a fighter so when we had the problems I was fighting. When everything was much better I was really focused.
