BOLTON HOPING TO SHACKLE TORRES

Bolton defender Matt Taylor admits the Trotters will have to nullify the threat of Fernando Torres if they are to secure victory against Liverpool on Sunday.

The former Portsmouth defender has been impressed by what he has seen from El Nino so far this season and while he is aware of the danger he could pose, he insists they will not be altering their game plan just to focus on stopping the 21-goal hitman.

"There are no special plans for Torres, we'll have to shackle him but we won't change our game for him," said Taylor.

Bolton head into the match boasting a record of two wins and two draws from their last four meetings with the Reds at the Reebok Stadium, and Taylor is convinced they have the big game mentality to heap further misrry on the Reds.

"It's a big game, but we tend to respond well in big games - just before I arrived the lads beat United at home," said Taylor.
